Thank you to those committed to training their
dogs! Our Fall Obedience class is FULL. We will offer more training classes in the Spring.
We still have plenty of room in our
Conformation classes. They are held Wednesdays at 7:00-7:45 pm, until November 4. Classes are in the building
at Drenthe Grove in Zeeland, MI. Per week cost is $5.00 per dog, juniors under 15 are just $3.00 per dog.

Dog Training Classes
Beginning Obedience: Become a Calm Assertive
Leader! You will learn to teach your dog simple commands such as sit, stay, heel, down and to come when called.
This class is for dogs 6 months and older. Wednesdays Sept 23 to Nov 4 from 6pm to 6:45pm.
Conformation 101: Dog showing 101: lean to
show your future champion with confidence in the conformation ring. Great way to practicie before entering the show
ring!. Junior Handlers welcome! This class is for dogs 12 weeks and up. Wednesdays Sept 23-Nov4 from
7pm to 7:30 pm.
Classes are held inside in a controlled temp environment at Drenthe
Community Grove in Zeeland. Cost: Conformation is $5.00 per class, per week. Junior Handlers under
15 are just $3.00 per class. Obedience:
$35.00 per dog for a 7 week course. Obedience dog MUST
pre-register and have proof of current vaccines. Please, no aggressive dogs allowed in class.
**Please note** Due to the rise in contagious canine diseases, we
will require proof of current shots for conformation on their first visit.

Trophies and Awards
Trophy donations for the July show are due at the November meeting! Yes, it's earlier
than usual but it is taking longer to get them here. BOB $15; BOS, BOW, WD & WB $12
Annual Award information for 2009 needs to be submitted to Merri VanDyke by 12/31/2009.
This is for titles your dog reached during 2009.
Membership Dues
2010 dues ($8 per person)
are due by December 31st.
