Annual Club Picnic
August 10, members gathered for a delicious evening.  Pulled pork was prepared for sandwiches and each member brought a dish to pass.  Delicious salads, baked beans, fruit....  And for dessert ...  Member Ken Hinchman was surprised with a Happy 60th Birthday cake and ice cream.  Mary & Linda worked out the details of getting it there without his knowing anything about it.  Mary order white cake with Lemon filling, Ken's favorite.  2 flavors of ice cream were available for choice.
 
Chatter and laughs continued after dinner.

Awards Dinner 2009

On April 20th, the members of HMKC and guests met at Brann's in Holland to celebrate the special achievements of the club's individual members.  Eileen Van Wieren was given a surprise award for her many years of dedication and service to the club as Treasurer.  She received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and engraved plaque.

The special guest speaker was a representative of Family Friends Veterinary Hospital.  She spoke to uswith great passion about conditioning and rehabilitation of our dogs for comformation, performance events and even everyday life.
